I completely agree!
I have a friend who runs his non-profit show, "Heavy Metal Home TV" on
Youtube and Myspace. He's used to working with WMV but he's always
complaining about the quality after it got converted to flash. So I asked
him: "I can provide you with web space, why don't you use MS Expression
Encoder?" and he replied "because it costs 200 bucks!" I'm pretty sure,
Silverlight would soon overtake flash video if the tools for creating
Silverlight based content were free to users.
