Try tapping the F8 key on starting pc,select safe mode,enter xp as
administrator,
get the files...Or,power off pc (unplug),locate the CMOS jumper pin,usually
by
battery,remove battery,move the CMOS pin from 1-2 to 2-3 for .45 seconds or
so,then back to 1-2,replace battery,start pc.On start -up,you'll need to
reset basic
BIOS settings (date/time,etc),load optimal defaults,then reset BIOS for
add-ons,
save & exit.
