Thanks, I tried the Activedisk© but when I started to use it I found
that the machine would run out of memory. Checking taskman. I was unable to
copy the font file vgaoem, don't know why.

I have a 6 gig I use for backup. I'll try to hook up the suspect drive in
its place.
