I briefly had the problem on my 64-bit desktop,
but I have been updating with a vengence and
something cleared the problem. Maybe the
update kernel 2.6.22.9-desktop-2mdv. Firefox
print preview is working fine now.

I am continuing to have problems with having to
rebuild the /var/lib/rpm/__db* databases before
each update (remove them; then run rpm --rebuilddb
which takes a few minutes). Be sure you are
getting all the updates (main, main updates,
contrib, contrib updates, non-free, non-free
updates, plf free, plf non-free). All have to
be enabled and Updates checked in MCC.

Diverting slightly, I upgraded from 2007.1 rather
than a clean install, and I find I have a lot of
2007.1 packages still on the system. I'm assuming
they are still ok (I note 2008.0 offers kernels
back to 2.6.17.14-5, so I am assuming there has
not been a lot of change in the kernel. Still,
every time I update something that replaces a
2007.1 package, things seem to work better...
Maybe that is just my imagination but seems better.

Cheers!
