Hi,

I was also having a problem with Word crashing when I went to create a new
email. Your post led me to investigate the signatures.

I played with the signature format and eventually what solved it for me was
removing a table that I was using to put a border around the text.

I changed the signature to use a text box with a border instead and this
works. Visually it looks exactly the same as before, but Word doesn't crash.

This only started to occur very recently - I'm not sure if it was after an
automatic update. I certainly haven't changed my signature in months.

Also, it only occured when using HTML format to create messages.
