Server Downtime & Spammer Attacks!

Hi all,

The server was inaccessible for around 8 hrs yesterday.

After investigation our webhost found that we had a severe mass spam attack. It's under control now and we are monitoring the status.

Any inconvenience caused is regretted. Thank you very much for your understanding.

Update:

Apache and PHP updated to the latest versions. I hope mysql can also be updated soon.

It was from 12 AM IST on 22nd.

Yes I noticed some downtime... I'm currently posting from my new ipod touch and it is kind of hard

. Well, good luck on finding the spammer and hardening security!
