Re: New Design & Integrated Article System

I'm having second thoughts about the practicality of the article system.

What do you guys think? Wouldn't it be easier & more coherent to use our current Reviews & Guides sections for posting articles?

Re: New Design & Integrated Article System

If you got some sort of CMS plugin for vB, and then made that the index page, It would be good.

Well, that's the problem. After the official (half-baked) CMS is released with the v4, most of the CMS addons are gone/unsupported. Our choices are to use a thirdparty article system, upgrade to vB4 or use the current Guides/Reviews system.

A third party (good) system should be okay.

Yeah, it seems to be the best option. But I am concerned about how we're going to manage member submissions.

If it's a good plugin, you will be able to change those settings.
