How to update AVG w/o Internet

Hi,

Each year I spend four months in Indonesia. My computer there runs
Vista with AVG 8 installed.

My computer does not have access to Internet
I can, however, visit an internet café and download there.

Is it possible to download the updates for AVG from a second computer
in a Internet café and save then to (for instance) an USB device and
install them on my own computer? How?

Kind regards,

Rob.

Even if you download the set-up file for the latest version my experience is
that you will still need to update it.
Under the Tools menu there is an option to update from a directory which can
be on a USB device for example.
On the second computer go to

and find the latest update then download to a USB device.
On your own computer use the option on the tools menu to update from the USB
device

Re: How to update AVG w/o Internet

Thanks both of you for your advice. When in Indonesia I will try it.

Kind regards,

Rob.
