iphone cases

Has anyone done any research in to iphone cases. Amazon is swamped but
none really stand out as being great.

Anyone any advice ? if I take this leap to an 18th month contract I
want to look after the thing.

Do you think there will be difficulty get our hands on the phones on the 9th ?

Dont know about cases but I know both my local O2 shops are going to be
open later than normal, as I assume are Carphone Warehouse stores, so
they are obviously expecting a crowd. I read last week that Carphone
Warehouse are expecting around 400,0000 iPhones and O2 stores around
200,000.

I was in my local 02 store who said the device will not go on sale until 6pm.

Thats right they are all holding back until 6pm, seems a bit silly to
me. But what Apple want Apple get.

No idea, a lot of people I have talked to have never heard of the iPhone
and O2 and CW pre-publicity has been zero so far. I would like to buy
one and will be hanging around an O2 or CW store at 6pm on the 9th, I
hope to be able to play with one, but it depends on the size of the
queue or not as the case may be.

Doubt it. Will the O2 network be able to cope with registrations
though?

I've just ordered two of these (one for me and one for the wife). They
look stunning.

I have one for my old SPV C500 and I loved it.

It seems a bit incongrous to me that a cutting edge device like the
iPhone should be put in a leather case, you would think there would be
wafer thin titanium cases or the like out there somewhere. But I suppose
leather is still the classic choice for a lot of people, especially if
you need the extra storage space. If I get a phone I will probably but a
silicon style case, very happy with my old iPod iSkin.
