Thanks though :-) Err, prehaps try changing your TWAIN driver to VueScan (which will probably improve quality too)? I don't have any other bright ideas! I did some more research (I don't have the same scanner...) The installer from <http://www.scanace.com/download/Cyb_X_SF.htm> installs among others a Photoshop plug-in to Applications:Adobe Photoshop Elements 2:Zusatzmodule:Import/Export:8BAM-SF.Bundle: You'll have to translate the german "Zusatzmodule" (additional modules) to your version of PS Elements Copy the file "8BAM-SF.Bundle" to VolumeName:Library:Application Support:GraphicConverter:Plug-ins: You should be able to scan with GraphicConverter PPC 6.0.2... I think that VueScan must use a different communication method back to Elements/GC. It started Elements for me when I chose that as its Viewer. |

Andreas, Thanks for your efforts. I found the file you mentioned and copied it as suggested, but it *still* doesn't work with GC 6.0.2 PPC. But VueScan looks like the way forward, Thanks to all who commented. Tim. |
