Some of the articles are plainly biased against Apple but then an equal number are biased against Windows. The bit that annoys me is the baying wolves that descend and post comments on any thread that mentions Apple accusing anyone of putting forward an even case of being a fan boy and deriding them beyond what can be considered reasonable. |

I love those. It's usually one rational comment maybe not even mentioning Apple, followed by a dozen screaming anti-Apple ranters ranting about how the Apple fanboys will be out in force any second. Then the fanboys never show up, and so the rational folks have a seperate conversation while the ranters blither. Odd. The worst thing about most webforums is the lack of a killfile. Even b3ta got one of those a couple of years back. Isn't that saying it is unbiased, or more acurately fairly biased? They are quite happy to point out the things that apple do that are crap (of which there are a lot), but equally don't seem that reluctant to point out the good stuff. > The bit that annoys me is the baying > wolves that descend and post comments on any thread that mentions Apple > accusing anyone of putting forward an even case of being a fan boy and > deriding them beyond what can be considered reasonable. That you get everywhere. You should see the nokia forums. Or in fact anywhere. There are people whos whole reason for existance seems to be hating everything apple. -- Woody www.alienrat.com |

Yeah, but Daniel has a problem with lots of people. Basically anyone who dares utter anything that isn't gushingly pro-Apple. While he does make some good points worthy of some thought, he takes the term 'fanboy' to a whole new level! -- This message was brought to you by Wayne Stuart - Have a nice day! |

After the success of the iPod, they have a very strong consumer base coming up who are interested in all apple products. I think apple have played a blinder and will easily overtake Microsoft in the next few years. All teenagers love the ipod and desire the iphone. Many also want a mac. |

And time machine, and the second iPhone review they did, the Macbook review and the Mac Pro got the editors choice in the '10 desktops' catagory. Leopards review was ok too. They are so anti apple! -- Woody www.alienrat.com |

The iphone does not compare well against the Nokia N95 (and no I don't have a N95). For example the camera and lack of video on the iphone. I don't have a camera on my Nokia E61, but the press are making a big deal at the iphones poor camera. No 3G?? No complex debates need, just a WHY no 3G? MY reason for not buying just now...... I was always told NEVER buy the first version of anything, because the next model will come along real soon... seems I may have been told right |
