Re: P-Source: A Guide to the Apple Pascal System

I should probably have posted this link earlier. I have dabbled with
VMs for microcontrollers in the past and I have a strong desire to
integrate a good deal of debugging support into the VM. Debugging code
has to be designed into the low level VM in order to be the most
useful. With MCUs I need to do remote debugging, so I use a COM port
as a debug channel to the PC. For the Apple II I'd probably also use a
cross-compile/debug model so I could have a modern full featured IDE
on the PC that could run programs remotely on the Apple.

Some of these ideas may be of interest to those considering a JVM/p-
machine/VM for the Apple II. Of course, I'd understand if you prefer
to keep everything on the Apple itself.
