r u using XP SP2 version????

Bcoz if u are I have a solution for u...

Go to Device Manager>>Then Expand System Devices>>And then you should see a yellow question mark on "PCI BUS">>Right click on it and choose to update it......and their your system should have sound now, windows wil be able to detect the sound drivers you previously installed, so you don't have to install it, unless your realtek driver was an older version!!!!

If you do it as I've explained above in any version of XP (maybe Vista as well, but Vista's hardware detection shouldn't conflict any of these), if you do the following above..1000% guarrentee you will have sound, no matter wat..!!!
