Audio Recording Problem with video capture card
I have a video capture card hooked up and everything works fine with it...Except the audio. When I hit record it takes the video just fine but no matter how I switch the cables around it will not record audio for me.
Can anyone help? The hookup I currently have is an audio cable going from the capture card's "Audio Out" to my computer's "Audio In" I tried hookin alot of stuff up to the Audio In jack and I can't get the computer to play anything that comes into that port. I have tried alot of playing around and can't seem to get it to work any which way. Is something muting my Audio In port? |

Re: Audio Recording Problem
Have you configured the Line-In as default recording device from Control panel -> Sounds -> Recording devices ?

Re: Audio Recording Problem with video capture card
Hey, why don't you try with this Video capture program: CyberLink PowerDirector 5 Premium, this original combination worked fine. The picture recorded as well as the audio. I could record using either S-Video or composite video. I could see the picture on the thumbnail monitor as well as hear the sound.
