Display has black squares!

All I know, brother dropped laptop and now his LCD screen has a big black box in the center and black rectangular boxes. Any fixes for this? If I know what to ask him for additional info please let me know

Most probably the display lcd seems to have some dead pixels. And the fix would be to get a replaced lcd. if it's within warranty, just don't say you dropped it
