Some are calling this pic just a rumour, but some say it is the screenshot of an application running on Android OS (popularly known as the gPhone OS). The app from upstart Whatsopen does just what you might think; it tells you what’s open nearby your location. This is possible that Whatsopen is the maker of the very first Android Application. Better is just to wait for the first SDK .

The national language of India is at last gaining some reputation globally. Microsoft has already included it in Windows. Lots of new softwares coming up regularly, websites in Hindi coming up, a search engine (raftaar) in hindi came up etc. etc. And just a couple of days ago, Orkut started scrap service in Hindi.

And today it is Yahoo!. Yahoo! India announced that now its free mail service will be available in Hindi. Users would be able to read and write in Hindi, without compromising with any of the features available in English.
“Yahoo! is the first Internet company to introduce Hindi language services in the country,” John Kremer, vice president, Yahoo! Mail, Yahoo! Inc, told IANS. But is this really the truth?? I am doubtful…. ;))
Many other companies are working hard to make Hindi available in computers just like Chinese in China. Hope these efforts are successfull, as I heard, that Hindi will also very soon be added in the main languages of United Nations.

Well, not a long quest in fact! Yesterday I was reading the Mac World magazine and suddenly an idea came to my mind! You got a few websites, forums and blogs related to various subjects, then why not a Mac Blog!
I logged on to Digital point forums and posted a thread asking for a Mac related domain. With in a few minutes I got a PM from another Indian webmaster Arjun about a domain for sale which is MacShock.com. Not a bad one but i replied him to wait for a few days so that I can look in to other offers as well. In the mean time I posted the same domain wanted post in many Domain forums, but the offers were not realistic!! I will need to spend a US $500 to get a decent one.
Thinking that ‘Domains are damn costly now!’, I moved to sedo for a quick search. The best one I found was MacToday.com. Hoo… Just for a try I registered an account at Sedo, verified it though SMS and made an offer for $60 ( it’s the minimum bid at sedo
) . After a few minutes I got a counter offer of $ 3500 for the lovely MacToday.com. OMG, I had money I would have bought it already.
So I went back to DP and replied Arjun saying that, okay, I’ll take the MacShock.com. He replied with details and I suggested a Yahoo messenger chat because the domain was registered at  DomainRightNow.com, which is a reseller of Godaddy. I hate godaddy and hence it’s resellers, but here there is no other options. So searched google a bit about this registrar and it seems they are cheap and at least not bad as registerfly! So created an account at DomainRightNow and in a few minutes Arjun pushed the domain. Payment is made through paypal and I’m now the happy owner of MacShock.com!
I haven’t decided what to actually do here. An apple news tech and software blog is the best bet!

Are you also a blogger?? Tired of pay-per-review sites who either never approve you site or even if they approve, you don’t get any reviews to write. So, here comes a brand new opportunity for you. Its called Bloggerwave. Worth trying at least once.

They approve blogs very fast. My blog was approved the next day itself and also got an opportunity to review themselves i.e. Bloggerwave for $10. It has somewhat a similar concept like pay-per-reviews, i.e. somewhat a meeting place for bloggers and advertiser/sponsors. But here, you don’t need to bid again and again and wait. Rather, you just need to take an opportunity and go for it.
A cool thing. More of these sites come, more better is the world of blogging for us.

Here comes two new cool handsets from Sony Ericsson, the T650i and T250i.
The T650i is a mainly based on good looks. Just like its tagline says, ‘Calling all design lovers’, this is for those who want a cool nice design in their hands. It is said to be inspired by NOrdic light (whatever it is). Its features include :-
12.5mm slim in a stainless steel casing
Large mineral glass screen stays clear even in direct sunlight
3.2 megapixel camera with Auto focus
Alive with technology – light effects and unique animations

While the T250i seems to be a budget range handset based for music lovers. And here the Tagline says, ‘Bringing Style to Life’. Its features include -
Contemporary look – 12.6mm slim with a stylish metallic finish.
VGA camera and built-in FM Radio
Simple to use – 1 button camera access

I like the T650i, really cool, with its cool looks. Now just lets see what do they do in the market.
