Crysis Sharks walk on Land, climb mountains

I have often seen, games are prepared as much as possible to give a real look. In many games, the animations are seen as if they aren’t animations but real videos.

Now, there is a famous game called Crysis. Everyone has surely heard this name. Now see this video by a player. A great ‘bug’ in the image. He has to fight with the sharks on land and even on climbing the mountains. They keep on chasing him everywhere. Check this out.

The video maker says, he hasn’t edited anything from the game. But still this is happening. Either this is a bug or a funny easter egg :-P. Whatever it is, some clarifications should be given or the bug corrected.

We would love to hear from our readers, who have also faced the same problem.

Some Dream, some Destroy their iPhones

While there are some people like me, who are still dreaming to own an iPhone, there are some who have been treating their iPhones very, very badly. I had even noticed a fund being raised by a person, to afford an iPhone. People were donating him, so that he could buy it.

People, who mistreat, destroy their iPhones, have been found posting videos, pics and even blogging their experience of destroying, breaking their iPhones. I found a place, where 5 videos of iPhone destruction have been shown. Here are screen shots from one of them.

Doesn’t that hurt??
Now, here’s a pic of a fully broken to pieces iPhone.

With so many pics of destroyed iPhones available around, I can make a whole gallery of destroyed iPhones. While if you visit iFixit here, they can ‘teach’ you how to ‘destroy’ (actually disassemble) an iPhone.

The guys at OnlyGizmos prove that iPhone is really very tough. They have pics of an iPhone dropped from a running train, an autorikshaw, while riding a bike … and probably more ways than what we can even think of. They call it the most battered iPhone.

Dropped even from a train.. must have been a really tough guy at heart.

But I am not.. :( sorry.. I can’t have it any more… My heart cries seeing this. Why don’t they better donate the iPhone to someone, than to destroy it. Not only the iPhone, anything else too.

P.S. : If you have been inspired by this post, to destroy your sweet little iPhone, do mind contacting me, by commenting here, to donate it to me. :)…

Toshiba enters Flash Drive Market with a 128GB one!

The market of Flash drives is increasing at a very fast rate. New companies are ever entering this market. Now, Toshiba Corp. and Toshiba America Electronic Components, its subsidiary in the Americas, have announced their entry into this market for NAND-flash-based solid-state drives (SSDs) with a series of products featuring multi-level cell (MLC) NAND flash memory.

They will be available in a range of form factors and capabilities. The first batch would be offered in three capacities: 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB, in three form factors - an embedded module, and 1.8-inch and 2.5-inch drive enclosures.

These solid-state drives have been primarily designed for notebook PCs. These will be showcased at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, from January 7th to 10th. The production and samples are expected to come from first quarter of the next year.

These new SSDs integrat an original MLC controller, which has made them able to build up a 128GB capacity in a 1.8-inch form factor and also helps them to support fast read-write speed, parallel data transfer, and wear-leveling.

The new products utilize NAND flash memory fabricated with 56nm process technology, along with controller chips and DRAM, on a 70.6mm (L) x 53.6mm (W) x 3.0mm (H) platform. The maximum read speed is 100MB per second, and the maximum write speed is 40MB per second with the SATA II interface (transfer rate of 3Gbps), which is compliant with a high-speed serial interface.

The rated operating life is 1,000,000 hours though the prices haven’t been declared yet up.

Details.
