FTP2Share - Upload your files to File sharing sites Via FTP!

FTP2Share logoWe used to upload loads of files to various file uploading sites ( eg. rapidshare.com) for sharing among our friends. But all these services will have some time limits / download limits and .To overcome this we need to create a number of mirrors of the same file in different services. But manually uploading the same file in different uploading services via a web interface is a tedious job. To make this easier there exists a service, the FTP2SHARE!

The Service

FTP2Share is still in alpha stage but has a large, loyal user base. The following diagram explains how the service works.

Testing the Service

  1. Registration

You need to create an account to upload files via FTP2Share. This is a very simple process and can be done here.

FTP2Share Register

2. The User Control Panel
On clicking register in the registration page you’ll be redirected to the user control panel. Here you can create folders, virtual files and upload files through a web interface.

4. Uploading files via Web Interface

The files can be uploaded from the address via a web interface.

Let us test the service by uploading a test file test.zip.

Ok, the file is uploaded and is listed in the control panel.

Now you get the Extrnal link to our file that can be shared among your friends.

The external link will show that your file is uploaded to a number of file sharing services like depositfiles, uploading.net, megaupload, spbland and filefactory. It seems they have removed the rapidshare support now.

3. FTP Upload

The files can also be uploaded via FTP. You can use the following details:

Host Name: ftp://ftp.ftp2share.com

Username: Your FTP2Share username

Password : Your FTP2Share Password

Overall a good service. Hope you’ll also like this one. :)

overall idea, David. The only problem I see is bandwidth since everybody downloads directly from your comp.

The service of ftp2share is great, but often the files you upload via ftp don’t show up on your RS / Megaupload etc account, so ppl get the files, but you get no points to i.e. “pay” for your premium account at RS
