Changing the time you have to select an Operating System on a Ubuntu/XP dual boot computer

I only recommend doing this if you know what you are doing or you have backed up the information before making any of the changes. Below are instructions on how to change the time (in seconds) you have to select an Operating System of an XP / Ubuntu dual Operating System computer. You will only have to perform this once.

This list will only be useful and helpful to people who have a Verizon cell phone. This a list of codes I put together that may be useful. I know there are a lot more codes than this but these are the ones I've used so far.

    • Choosing option 1 is for programming your phone.

Resetting your Apple Mobile Device Service

Just today, I went to sync my iPod with iTunes and got the message "This iPod cannot be used because the Apple Mobile Device Service is not started." If you have ever received this message, here is the solution.

  • Close iTunes.
  • Disconnect your Apple Device from your computer.
