Virgin Media Special Offer

"Offer ends: 30.11.07"

Can we have them for lyin, if the offer isn't actually an offer, and it
doesn't actually end anyway?
It's always that price, and will not be changed after the 30.11.07.

Is there *anything at all* you /won't/ try and find fault with with VM? It's
pathetic, really!

No it's not people have a right to find fault with VM as VM get worse
with every day that passes . VM do not give a damn about the
service they are providing to its customers we do not see in the news
groups the full amount of dissatisfied customers. I subscribe to
various forums on the Internet and each one is full of other members
complaining about VM and the abysmal service they are providing since
the amalgamation of BY etc into VM.

You have the relevant stats., etc., to prove your "VM get worse with every
day that passes" claim I assume? I look forward to reading it.

By all means complain if the service is not as described for an extended
period or whatever, but Gonz doesn't even give a link to a supposed error
he's found!

That said, why is he bothering with searching the web site of a company he
obviously hates with a passion? I can only assume he's tying to find any and
every little fault he can to throw at them. Which, I re-iterate, is plainly
pathetic.

Equally, of course, neither do we see the full amount of *satisfied*
customers and, given that the company is /still/ the number one consumer
ISP, I'd say there had to be more of the happy than the un-happy. Unless, of
course, the un-happy are plainly stupid enough to stick with a service
provider they are not happy with!

There you go again with the your blanket statements. No forum is *full* of
people complaining. (where full = 100% by *anyone's* standards.) Yes,
people are moaning and complaining of problems but no, Forums are not *FULL*
of people complaining. Also, some of those complaints have been proved to be
not actually the fault of VM but simply the way the internet works.

Is there nothing about VM you won't defend, no matter how stupid or wrong it
is.

Your VM FanBoy antics are pathetic really!

If people are fed up with the service the VM are providing, why dont they
just leave. Thats the benefit of a free market, there are loads of possible
ISP that you can go to. Some of you may argue that you are locked into a 12
month contract, but if the service really is that bad, then VM are not
holding up their side of the contract, so you can still leave, they are the
ones that have broken the contract.

Surely if VM started to lose customers on mass, then they would sort out the
service.

I am afraid that they are holding up their side of the contract if the
complaint is about speed received all VM will do in that instance is
take a large piece of paper out of the drawer with the two little
words in big print written on it and throw it in your face the words
being "UP TO"
All day yesterday every time I checked speed I was getting I never
topped more than 7Mb and I am on a 20 Mb service ! I am not going to
brake the contract and leave but just cut back to 2Mb then come next
June take great pleasure in telling them what to do with their
service.
