in.identd issues
Still happily running a Caldera OpenLinux 2.3 system with Kernel
upgraded to 2.4.20... Just a quickie - Im getting loads of in.identd entries when I issue the command ps -A I kind of figured out that it was all these that were giving me forking issues and consequently refusing to allow me to log in to the system. Since doing a killall in.identd I have been able to keep my system alive for 43 days so far. Any ideas what I can do to keep in.identd at bay? Im not sure what information you'll need me to provide at this stage, and I dont want to clutter up the newsgroups with trivial things that aren't required... Cheers Simon |
