| Guest Posts: n/a | TheLion.com has old Yahoo! format There's no SCOX forum, but check out the GM forum for an idea of what it looks like. I know nothing about who The Lion is or who runs it, but it has some potential for those not wanting to flee to Usenet and those who can't stand the new Yahoo format, if they can be convinced to open a new forum. I tried posting to Yahoo, but Yahoo must not like posts about competitors and it looks like they improved their obfuscated URL detection with the new board. It didn't complain to me but it also did not show up. |

| Guest Posts: n/a | Re: TheLion.com has old Yahoo! format Now I'm in... There is a Caldera Intl Inc (SCOX) board with some older stuff in it. This one might work as a replacement. BTW, DDT showed up over on my scoxq.com forums this morning. Not too much of a surprise. Rajah |

| Guest Posts: n/a | Re: TheLion.com has old Yahoo! format At first glance the TOS looks rather draconian. To be sure little of what I write on these boards is worthy of protection, but they appear to claim copyright for what there appears. Likewise the TOS would seem to preclude archives. -- TWZ heimdal31 wrote: > There's no SCOX forum, but check out the GM forum for an idea of what it > looks like. > > I know nothing about who The Lion is or who runs it, but it has some > potential for those not wanting to flee to Usenet and those who can't > stand the new Yahoo format, if they can be convinced to open a new forum. > > > > I tried posting to Yahoo, but Yahoo must not like posts about > competitors and it looks like they improved their obfuscated URL detection > with the new board. It might be *very* interesting to note what IP the resident Ballmer Balls worshipper was posting from... <hint, hint> I'll be sure to stop by later. -Bob S. |
