Re: Help: How to remove the error Virus amvo.exe

Do you have any antivirus software installed? I do recommend NOD32. Download it, install and update the virus definitions. Do a full system scan, it should remove the culprit.

If you prefer manual removal refer this post:

No, I said 'NOD32 3' is buggy.

With the latest version the product is stable now and i'm using it over 15 computers in my office. Almost all the bugs are fixed and memory footprint is narrowed.

Even though it's not up to the NOD32 2.7x version's performance, it's ok. So as of now the best antivirus protection for a home user is NOD32 3.x. Kaspersky is pretty good, but it's too aggressive for a normal user.

Re: Help: How to remove the error Virus amvo.exe

Hi Ayan! if you cannot delete it, try to use Flash Disinfector here:

http://www.esnips.com/doc/06abfbf4-3...sh_Disinfector

it will back to normal 100%...

after you execute it, try to browse your drives c: d:

and go to folder options to view the hidden files...
try to delete the amvo.exe or q.exe and the autorun..

If symptoms persist consult your doctor... hehe..

Re: Help: How to remove the error Virus amvo.exe

oh I forgot... to prevent the pop up error appear everytime you open your computer
just go to start|run| regedit

Hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\windows\curr ent version\run
delete the amvo. but before you delete it.. write down the location first..

c:windows\system32\amva delete it using SHIFT+DELETE. then try to restart your computer...
