hello friends My name is Mohamed Ayaiz. anybody please help me i use windows xp my computer got infected with a virus symantec website says its caused by w32.pitin.b i did wat was written in the symantec blog to remove the virus and to the system registry changes
1.to disable system restore
2.scan the system with antivirus
3.edit the registry as in the webpage il paste a copy of it here

before the above said procedure i did what was written in a blog in techsupportforum.com downloading combofix.exe and doin things as it was written there .
when i switched on the cpu button "surabaya in my birthday " message and some indonesian language ok tab was gettin displayed .i disabled it by follwing registry editing by symantec blog above .Even though all my files and folders that are hidden,unhidden are not being displayed they are hidden somewhere .
even after i did scan my system by mcafee antivirus removed viruses ,uninstalled it then downloaded pc tools antivirus and scanned the system it found two viruses 1.js.trojan.dl.a
2.inf.autorun.gen
mcafee was not deleting data cd netscan that it was finding in g drive please help me out i am not able to access my data that is in my all drives it has been hidden by the virus .
now the pctools antivirus does'nt show any virus as it removed the 1.js.trojan.dl.a
2 .inf.autorun.gen
currently i have only pctools antivirus installed in my system plese help me out.
