Those are harmless. Uninstall info of the Windows updates. Did you run combo fix?

Re: Can't access Antivirus Sites/Google/Avast etc.

I ran combofix, It got to step 31 and I didn't see any movement for while so I closed out and rebooted. Tryed spybot again and it's searching as I type.

This time it installed? It means some of your issues are fixed. Once the scan is complete, fix the issues if any and reboot.

Run combofix again and wait for it to complete. May take upto an hour.

Reboot again, RunHijackthis and post the log so that we can finalize you're clean.

Re: Can't access Antivirus Sites/Google/Avast etc.

The log looks clean to me except the following:

Quote:
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [12ZFG94-F641-2SF-K31P-5N1ER6H6L2] C:\RECYCLER\S-1-5-21-3369204483-1251680606-750036285-8171\service.exe
Run Hijackthis again, tick this entry from the scan results windows and Click Fix Selected.

So, can you now access the blocked websites? Is the system is back to normal now? Check the hosts file again and see if there is any unwanted entries.

I suggest the removal of one of the Antivirus software install. You'll only need one, Avast should do the job. Keep it upto date. Also install Windows XP SP3. Update Spybot S&D once in a week and do scans.

Cheers!

Re: Can't access Antivirus Sites/Google/Avast etc.

If you still have problems open your hosts file and delte the entire contents and paste this :

Code:
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host
Save the file. Then right click and set it's attribute to read-only. OPEN the file again and make sure no additional lines are added.

Re: Can't access Antivirus Sites/Google/Avast etc.

Thank you two for all of your help and support =D.
You helped me as if I have been a member for quite awhile and walked me through step by step.
Strider you definitely have my recommendation.

Everything seems up to par, I'll update to sp3.
---
127.0.0.1 localhost
---
That was the only thing in the host file I had.

Yes your hosts file is now OK.

And if you still have this entry in HijackThis, fix it :
