Win XP, cannot access any antivirus sites or google

it's pretty difficult to predict what made the system slow, did you run any benchmarks to see that the system is under performing ? and honestly, I think osx works best on macbooks much better than Windows on a macbook.

Try the following tools to get your machine get cleanup a bit. These tweaks ( Especially by TuneXP) should improve the performance.

CCleaner
