FUFAXSTM.EXE New Virus? - bitten by Matt's virus
Hi everybody! Was trying to shut down my computer today and found that FUFAXSTM.EXE could not close. Once computer was restarted, I looked this up and found that I was bitten by Matt's Virus. I ran f-secure scan and it removed 13 cookie malwares. Unsure if it removed "Matt's Virus."
Has anybody ever heard of this? Thanks for taking the time to read this and helping me if you can. Michelle |

Re: FUFAXSTM.EXE New Virus?
I can't find any references to the file FUFAXSTM.EXE. If your F-Secure Antivirus is up to date then it must have removed the infections. But you can confirm this by using any of the following free online virus scanners.
ESET Online Antivirus Scanner Kaspersky Online Virus Scanner Note:- Make sure that your current Antivirus is disabled before trying any of the above online scanners. |

Thank you. I will run the scanners and let you know. I shut down my computer after using the f-secure and did not find the error this time.
Thank you very much, Michelle |

Re: FUFAXSTM.EXE New Virus? - bitten by Matt's virus
FUFAXSTM.exe is the Epson Fax Utility. It can be uninstalled from the add remove software in the control panel.
Good luck. NDD |
