Need admin password for dell latitude D610
I Bought a Latitude D610 off ebay but I cant use it
because it has an admin password. When I hit the power button it goes to need a admin password screen. I tried removing the batt for a couple of days but that doesn't work and dell wont help because i'm not the original owner of the computer. #7SZWN91-595B thanks |

If he/she refuses, then file a complaint for a refund through PayPal. If you didn't use PayPal but instead sent a check or wired the money, then congratulations on your new door stop. Stew |

I'd also run the tag with Dell and ask if it is "flagged" (meaning stolen or not paid for). |

You have a limited time frame for PayPal > Agreed. But the OP has not said he used PayPal. If check or money wired...... he could file with ebay but his biggest hope is that Dell will accept his purchase receipt - and this assumes that the system isn't listed as stolen w/Dell. |
