Angry NEED IMMEDIATE HELP WITH XP NVIDIA DRIVER!

Ok...heres the problem....I upgraded my nvidia forceware driver the other day to 169.21...now every single time I start XP...theres usually a small nvidia icon in the taskbar that loads up as I load up XP...now after every time I load up into XP....when the little nvidia icon program tries to load up...my XP screen becomes garbled...or my screen turns off.....and my XP is loadable or workable.....anyone know a solution or at least tell me how to get into Safe Mode in XP Pro and uninstall the nvidia drivers from there and then I do a fresh driver installation???

Re: NEED IMMEDIATE HELP WITH XP NVIDIA DRIVER!

From msconfig -> startup disable the Nvidia startups. and you need to press F8 while booting and then choose Safe mode.

btw -- how do you generally upgrade drivers ?? what all steps you follow ?
