GigaWare wireless laser Mouse drivers for Windows Vista . (HELP ASAP)
Hi,
I just bought a GigaWare wireless laser mouse from Radio Shack, and when I try to install it on Vista, the driver will not install. However, when I tried on a desktop that has XP, it installed. So, does anyone have the driver(s) for this mouse? Info: * GigaWare (a "Radio Shack" company) * Model #: 29-990 |

It should work on any USB compatibles computers without any drivers. So I suppose you have some problems in your USB setup. Are other USB devices working in your Vista machine?

Re: GigaWare wireless laser Mouse drivers for Windows Vista . (HELP ASAP)
I returned it, and got a Logitech LX6 Cordless Mouse, and the driver for that did not install, so I'm taking my laptop to Best Buy (friday) to see if there is any thing wrong with it.
However, my USB flash drive works with my machine just fine. If possible, could you send me the driver? |

Re: GigaWare wireless laser Mouse drivers for Windows Vista . (HELP ASAP)
You may try the following:
1. Enable Show hidden files and folders from My Computer Windows ( Tools menu> Folder Options > View tab. 2. Browse to the folder C:\Windows\Inf and look for usb.inf file. 3. If usb.inf file is present, Right click on it and select the Install option. 4. Now delete the file INFCACHE.1 in the same folder. Try plugging in your USB dongle now and see if the windows is detecting it. Btw. can you check for any Unknown Devices entries in the Windows Device Manager. To open Device manager click Start, click Run, then type devmgmt.msc and press Enter. |
