Updated Drivers Error

Hey guys
This is my first post in her so go easy on me!!

I have a not-so-minor problem i hope someone here can help me out with...

I used the most up-to-date version of Advanced SystemCare PRO to update some of my drivers. I'm new at this though so I'm not entriely sure which drivers I updated.
Now though when i log on to windows (XP) the system starts as usual but after about a minute the computer shuts down suddenly and restarts.

I'm fairly sure the problem is with the drivers, and I'm alson certain ther is some way of repairing this problem using Safe Mode.
However I dont know how to go about this.

Can any of you guys help me out? Anyone have a walkthrough guide or a procedure to explain how I can fix this?

Any help is very greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It's always better to get your drivers updated manually instead of using third party tools. Identify you computer hardware details and from the manufacturer websites get latest version of drivers.

Id possible post your hardware specs here so that we can help you to find the up-to-date drivers.

Btw. Can you see any errors reported in the Windows Event Viewer?

Re: Updated Drivers Error

it might be that you are receiving a BSOD and hence the system reboots. Does the system reboots automatically even in Safe Mode ?

Open Control Panel -> System -> Advanced -> under "Start up and recovery" click "Settings", under "System failure" uncheck "Automatic restart". Click OK and close all open windows. Next time hopefully, you will receive a BSOD screen with the error code and parameters. Note down those and post the error code, message and any filename mentioned.

If you have System Restore enabled, restore to an earlier point prior to updating drivers from Safe Mode.

I had a similar problem to yours. Thanks to Advanced System Care's driver update utility. Now I will never use that program to update drivers again.

Anyways, did you select to update them all? It would have been better if you at least chose to update them one at a time. To check for any problems before proceeding to the next. Now its a bit tougher to track down the wrong driver/s.

Try mr. Bakuryu's advice first.
