does it reboot or shut down ?

If it reboots, then most probably it's something to do with BSOD. Run memtest and check your system memory.

If your system memory is fine, go to Control Panel -> System -> Advanced -> under 'Startup and Recovery' click 'Settings', under 'System failure' uncheck 'Automatically restart'. Next time if it BSOD's, note down the STOP error code and any filename if mentioned.
