Ok i have an IBM IntelliStation running windows xp. I'm going to be dual booting soon but my other os i want to be very light. So i'm using nlite to shrink it down. What i need help with is i want to remove all the extra drivers of the os and only integrate only the drivers im using. How do i know what drivers i'm using and the ones that are just extra. Someone please help me. thank you |

You know you can just download the Gamer Edition of XP. Basically on my other forum, some spanish guy stripped down the XP installation down to a 90MB ISO with all the themes, drivers and fonts removed. Just leaving core files of XP. I can load up the link if you want. If your going to remove the drivers yourself. Its going to be hard process.

uhmm. No idea. Thats kinda odd to be honest. If it doesn't run XP Pro then it shouldn't run XP overall. But seriously no idea, maybe Baku would be able to assist.

Have you got some RAID controllers or SCSI hardware adapters installed? I have a IBM that had a similar problem come to think of it now.

yes i do. its windows basic to have those installed. could that be the problem? and if so wht do i do to fix it? im not that great when it comes to hardware XD i can take them apart and put them to gether but the rest is ugh lol. So what should i do?

What type of RAID and/or SCSI hardware do you have installed?
I need the exact model so I can help find drivers for you to slipstream into your XP disc through Nlite. |

currently i have none. i used to have a raid card in my comp to add adfditional hdds but i took it out when they wouldnt all work together. so right now i have none
