Re: Scariest Games ever played?

First time in the original F.E.A.R when you haven't encountered enemies for awhile. You walk up the stairs, turn 180 degrees, walk up the next set of stairs and peak in to the first office. I freaked out.

There was something crawling on the wall! It was so unexpected that I wasn't sure what to think and I flipped and started firing off my shotgun in every direction feasible. I wasn't sure if it was human or what. That part never fails to startle me, even though I know he's there.

I really need to get my hands on some Silent Hill though. I hear those have some pretty scary and twisted plots. Resident Evil... I never really found that scary. Nerve racking would be better descriptors for me, namely RE4 - the chainsaw ladies always had me panicked if I could hear them but not see them.

Re: Scariest Games ever played?

Really you should definitely get Silent Hill series, skip number 1 start from 2,3,4 and the new one Homecoming. But nothing beats the original 2 and 3! Another scary game you should get is Condemned Criminal Origins, when I bought the game it was rated MA 15+ for Strong Violence and Language, little did I know, upon playing it at night, I thought it might be awesome with my subs on max and melee and shotgun effects turned out to be a game that has scared me more then any other modern games. <YOU should really get it!

Re: Scariest Games ever played?

lucky you.. You get the chance to play at maxxed out volume.

I remember I was playing Heavenly Swords and the excitement of final battle with Bohan made me increase the volume of my home theather to something 26 (34 being the max) ... and Running came my Dad ... Fired me with a long speech .. something about living in Standards and Society and asked me to be an aristocrat

See....only way I can play my games on PC is by wearing Headphones...

an on PS3 is when my parents are not at home.. .Forget playing at night s
