After looking at the trailers on YouTube and deciding to go for Prometheus, I decided to torture myself a bit by reading the comments.

How can anyone be a fanboy of a movie before they actually watched it is beyond me.

Re: Movies - What ya watching?

Yesterday evening my mates from work dragged me to Dredd 3D. One of the worst movies I've ever seen .

Again with the shattered expectations!

Haven't seen Men In Black yet, don't care if people say it's rubbish, Will Smith is awesome anyway

Re: Movies - What ya watching?

I finally watched Inception. I really don't get why people say it was complicated, it seemed to make sense to me. Except the end is annoying "ooh is he in a dream, or is he not?!" I reckon he is, cause his kids do not appear to have aged for some reason.
Reminds me or one of my friends, who claimed that the new Star Trek movie made "no sense" and that the new GI Joe movie was simpler. He claimed it was because there was time travel in Star Trek, and in GI Joe some people were just trying to blow stuff up. When I reminded him it was all a plot to replace the president, and therefore much more complicated than "dude comes back in time to blow up everyone", he had no idea what I was talking about. XD

Ah yes, but you probably aren't part of the target audience for most Hollywood movies! I too find it hard to see the complication in well-made movies where people do more than blow stuff up XD
