Is it possible to import DVD to iTunes and then steam to ipad?
I have collected a lot of DVD discs. Alas, I often have to fly from one place to another for foreign business so I have little time to watch my beloved DVDs at home. Is there any solution to import DVD to iTunes? If so, I could steam it to my ipad (I take it with me for work). Free solution would be the best. Thanks.

If Handbrake does not work, I'm not sure if there is other free solution.
But you can try Air Playit to directly stream your DVD to ipad. |

I'm pretty sure iTunes can rip DVD's straight up.

If iTunes won't rip the DVDs for you, I'm pretty sure Windows Media Player will. Failing that/if you are using a Mac, you can grab some freeware from CNET or Sourceforge.

Handbrake(most recommended, course free), DVD Shrink(free but just for Windows), Leawo DVD Ripper(available on free version and can rip protected DVDs). Actually there so many options, you can google by yourself!!

Try Handbrake or macx dvd ripper pro free edition. Both are free and useful. Besides, Macx program is more stable, in my opinion.

TBF it was a long time ago and I may have been in a mild state of psychosis from lack of sleep at the time, but I just found the interface complicated and confusing. I always used DVDDecrypter, but unfortunately it gives you a massive folder of VIDEO.TS files which can only be played with VLC.
In short, give Handbrake a try, and if you have trouble with it then we can offer advice and/or suggest other software. Good luck |
