Prices of ram reaching height

Just had a chance to visit lamington road.....
and OMG i was shocked to learn that

512 mb - PC3200 cost around 2500 approx....(average)
256 mb - PC2100 around 1450 RS on average

And more shocking was when the shop kepper said that these prices are getting higher by 10 - 20 % in the coming weeks. Specially in segment of 512 mb ram PC3200

Were as there wuld be about 5% increase in the pc400 SEGMENT
WHILE A WOPPING 30 % INCREASE IN server BUFFERED RAMS

GOOD NEWS was that....optical drives will be getting more cheaper and soon price of DVD writters will be touching 2000 K and less

HDD prices will remain intact

Prices of LCD will fall by 15 - 10% and that of CRT will remain intact

Prices of Pentium 4/AMD 939 will be reduced by major margin....
while a drop in the prices of core2duo by 5% too

Prices of mother borads will remain more or less same......

I tried to collect more news on the on going market in graphic card but..

then the shopkepper came to knew that i was just fooling around him and wuldnt purchase a thing...so he just pointed his finger 2wards the door...and without any thing saying except for "THANKS..FIR MILENGE "
to the next shop ....the guy was pretty much busy...and hardly spoke about anything....he only answered the price of Core2duo E6300 which is 9150 excluding VAT
VAT applicable if u want pakka bill...

Getting an INDIAN burger for my belly....i left lamington Road.

OMG, my last visit to Lamington Road was also not pleasant !

DDR modules are getting very expensive, 2 months ago I bought 512MB PC3200 for only 2250. And before that I think it was 2k....Damm..

I know how it is when the shop keeps don't entertain you,

....WTF what do they think they are??

I bought 512 MB DDR RAM just for 1750 bucks 3 months ago with 3 years warranty....
In Kolhapur there is a PC dealer who sells all hardwares in cheap rate...

& wht about DVD writer...
I bought Sony DVD writer just for 1900 bucks a week ago...

I think my dealer is Cheaper than yours

I bought 512 mb ram for 1650 RS three month ago.....
go check the prices now.....
And about DVD writer urs must be SONY OEM DVD writer.....not SONY BOX.....and i still doubt ....cuz every shop i went the prizes of DVD writers were about 2200 - 2050...not less than this....

About DDR modules, I think it gonna be tough coz DDR is getting out dated and DDR2 is becoming cheaper day by day.....
