Computer monitor won't show display
I just got my computer back from the shop and when I boot up my display stays black. My monitor has power and works with my other computer. I checked and rechecked all my connections. Any thoughts?

Re: Computer monitor won't show display
There is nothing wrong with your monitor its fine.this is the common problem causes due to bad handling just open ur cpu clean and fix the RAM properly in their slots and u r done.I know this because i had this prob several times.
WARNING :- If u dont know what the hell RAM is and where it is located then i will recommend you should not do this just show ur pc to service provider |

Re: Computer monitor won't show display
Are you sure that your CPU boots up normally?
If the Ram got loose from its slot. You can hear some continuous beep sound while starting up. If you have some problem with the boot up, you must correct that. To check the booting up process without monitor. Just see the HardDisk LED. It should blink often while booting up. ---> If its is OFF continuously, then i'm sure that you have problem with CPU. ---> If its is ON continuously, then i 'm sure that your system gets strucked while booting. Re: Computer monitor won't show display
*sunshinecity: If you just got the computer back from the shop its their problem, not yours. Take it back and tell them to make it work!
