Right now I have a setup with a cheap case with:

AMD 64 X2 3800+
2GB of PC3200 DDR
MSI K8T NEO2 mobo
LG DVD+R Drive
Sony DVD+R Drive
(1) ATA 180GB HDD
(2) SATA 500GB HDD
450W PSU

Currently Running Windows Vista Ultimate with no issues what so ever and all stock settings on mobo with stock AMD CPU heatsink ad fan.

Newest setup:

Currently have:
Antec Nine Hundred Case
ASUS Maximus Extreme mobo

Need to buy:
Intel Quad Core Proc and cooling solution.
4GB of DDR3 (2x2GB)
A very fast HDD (SATA) for primary boot. I want to get away from IDE and somehow direct image my current HD to the new SATA (any recommendations?)
(2) Highly reliable DVD+R SATA Drives with lightscribe. I do a lot of burning and have gone through 3-4 drives now.
PSU.

So out of my need to buy list, does anyone want to contribute some suggestions?
