Can I connect PCMCIA Card on Expresscard 54 slot?

I have buy new HP DV6-1030US laptop & it has a ExpressCard/54 slot ,no firewire slot is in, so i have a one question for all people here is someone help me? i want to know PCMCIA & ExpressCard/54 slot is same or diffrant ? can i join any PCMCIA firewire card in my ExpressCard/54 slot ?

ExpressCard is designed as a replacement to PCMCIA. Both are not directly inter-operable.

I believe there is no PCMCIA to ExpressCard adapters available now. Instead you can buy a PCMCIA to USB adapter. Examples here.
