Question compatable hardware

Hi all

I was wondering if someone could tell me if the hardware I have in the computer i just built is compatable.

Gigabyte GA-MA770-S3P rev2.0 motherboard

Gigabyte 9600gt 512meg graphics card

Corsair RAM 800Mhz 4-4-4-12 (4gigs of)

WD carvair blue 500G HDD

Apevia Warlock 750W PSU (Thinking its the PSU which is not compatable)

Re: compatable hardware

Yes everything is fun, except the PSU.

Never buy generic brand psu's (Cheap quality ones)

Buy decent brands such as Corsair, Thermaltake, Tagan, OCZ, Silverstone, CoolerMaster and other discret brands. Avoid brands like USICASE, Rosewill and any other names that sound fishy.

Re: compatable hardware

Yeah i took my computer to a local technician and he said the psu was faulty...I seriously thought i would not have any troubles with it though because I read many reviews and everyone said its a great psu. I've now purchased an ocz psu should be here in a couple of days.

Also...do you think it would be possible to run dual graphics cards? or is that overkill...i have no idea what im doing haha

Re: compatable hardware

As long as you have 650 watts + of power (and from the upcoming PSU you ordered) then yes you would be able to power another 9600GT or 9800GT.

Hit the Thanks button
