Re: Cyberdrive CD Burner

Hmm, That's odd. As a first step we must make sure that the laser lenses are clean and dust free. Buy a CD/DVD drive cleaner CD from a local computer store and follow the instructions. It'll clean the lense assembly.

Re: Cyberdrive CD Burner

First try to change drive letter for device.

right click My computer> manage > disk management
right click on cdrom and select "change drive letter and paths".

then try if it works.

Re: Cyberdrive CD Burner

If your cyberdrive installed a driver, try uninstalling the driver and reinstalling it. That might work.

Also have you tried deleting the upper/lower filters from the registry? This sometimes affect CD burners/writers, specially if you installed or are using itunes...

Re: Cyberdrive CD Burner

Change the external cable unit that connects your pc and the extrenal cd writer,

Hopefully it will work, If not then uninstall the driver and the run a complete antivirus scan.
thereafter, Reconnect the drive and install driver...
