Re: USB gadgets

I've bought a lot of stuff that can be plugged into a USB port, including a Mug Warmer. It didn't work for me though. I got some LED lights for my laptop and a feet warmer. The feet warmer is great, saves me having to turn on the heating! The LED lights for the laptop is brilliant for when I am up in my home cinema, as when I am on my netbook I can see what I am typing.

Re: USB gadgets

These days many of the companies have some weird USB powered products.
I recently bought an HP laptop along with it i got an LED light which is USB powered as a freebie,it is a useful tool for reading at night if one is unfamiliar with typing in the dark also the freebie list included a USB powered vacuum cleaner for the keyboard and the screen.

Re: USB gadgets

Some LED lights would definitely come in handy. I also type a lot during the night, so I want one. Could you share some links?

Re: USB gadgets

Most of this stuff is things you can easily knock together out of spare parts. I have a halogen bulb and a bunch of spare fans running off an ancient Seasonic PSU. Effectively cost me nothing as I wouldn't have used the parts for anything else. The equivalent "USB gadgets" would have set me back probably about 30 quid lol.
