Sorry, I don't believe you can add more bays to a power Poweredge. You can try adding USB based drives for external storage, but that's pretty much pointless in a server.

Re: I want to add more Drive bays to my Dell Poweredge r320

No, you can't add drives to the 320 (although the 4-3.5" drives can be replaced with 8-2.5" drives if you wish. WD now has 2TB 2.5-inch drives:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...eId=1&name=2TB)
giving you up to 16TB.

You CAN also add a storage module or six to the system:

server disk modules - Dell - Search - For Work

Dell also offers it's PowerVault storage series:

http://search.dell.com/results.aspx?...False&~ck=anav

Big bucks here.

You can also add storage in the form of SAS external RAID or JBOD arrays, plus a wealth of Dell add-ons for external storage. It only takes money (apparently in large quantities, since some of these drive modules exceed $6000US EACH!

Specs and details here:

PowerEdge R320 rack server details | Dell

Dell has a configuration page for that server here:

http://configure.us.dell.com/dellsto...en&s=bsd&cs=04

Would you be so kind as to back up that statement? My research indicates that the 4 3.5" drives can be replaced by 8 2.5" drives. It also indicates that additional storage modules can be added to the system. Whence comes your declaration?
