Peripherals randomly stop working during gaming

Hello everyone.

I have a HP HPE 410f desktop. Lately, usually during gaming, the peripherals (mouse keyboard AND monitor) stop working. The lights on the keyboard and mouse go off and monitor shows "no signal", but the computer stays on. The only thing to get it working is to reboot using the turn off button on the PC. So far I've noticed it mostly happens during games. I think it might also happen after I install large games (haven't been able to confirm yet). Sometimes it stops working after a few minutes, sometimes after a few hours, or even weeks.

It's starting to get really upsetting. Anybody know what the issue might be?

Thank you in advance!

Re: Peripherals randomly stop working during gaming

Have you updated Windows, AV software, graphics and I/O drivers, and the games in question?

Have you run full scans with AV software (and ideally MBAM too)?
