HP is best i suppose
HP is all good except the heating and low battery life. I bought my HP laptop around one year ago, still running smoothly.

Same here ... I have got HP at the same time Strider got it ... HP is value for money .... with brilliant screen and sound. Good in Customer Care Centres, Graphics Cards, Customisation Options, varieties, supportive products,... etc.

HP battery is the key to lesser price. Also HP comes with option to install extra batteries (upto 12) if you want which are detachable. HP laptops are heavier than Acer counteroarts for battery reason.

Alienware is for spoiled brats who dont care for money, extreme gamer's extreme laptops. I love them but recently they went into trouble as their laptop was causing overheating and cracks. LINK. This issue has been officially accepted by manufacturer.

I like Dell for their good products, however, do not consider it as its prices are relatively higher than it should be. But battery life is good. Not at all suitable for Developing Countries.

Everybody forgot about OLPC Laptops LINK... I love them and you should consider them because the are going to bring revolution in the whole education system and future of the world children. Add it to 'Poll' ... . Open source laptops.
