windows 8 Limited WiFi connection issue

Hello all,

I have recently purchased a netbook laptop running windows 8.1 enterprise to use for college work. I am having a problem connecting to my home WiFi. I currently have a desktop pc running windows 7 and two iPhone's that connect to the WiFi no problem. I can connect the netbook to the internet using Ethernet cable and also personal hotspot through my phone. I can see and connect to the WiFi but it shows the yellow symbol and states limited connection, one other thing I have noticed is that it see's my WiFi as a public network. I believe this should be shown as a private network connection. I have followed numerous troubleshooting guides that I have found on-line without any joy. Any help to resolve this problem would be much appreciated.

Kind Regards,
Adam
