Guys!
My first small tutorial for Windows VISTA.
Actually I was playing with Vista's
sysdm.cpl file in Resource Hacker and I found following interesting Registry value:
Code:
SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\OemSupport\\SupportUrl
When I opened regedit, I didnt find any such key there. So I just created the required key manually but no benefit.
After doing a few minutes R&D in other system files, I got some interesting hacks.
By using this hack, u'll get some extra information and a Logo in Vista System Properties dialog box. Its very much same as the good old "OEMLogo.bmp" and "OEMInfo.ini" files in windows XP but sadly this trick no longer works in Vista.
Here is a screenshot of my current Vista System Properties dialog box with my own customized strings:
So here we go:
Add Customized Strings in System Properties Dialog Box of Windows Vista
So Enjoy it as I'm enjoying it in my Vista Ultimate.
