intel quad q8300

Hihi.

Recently I bought a new computer. Intel Quad core
Anyways When I finally tried to set it up (three days later >_>), nothing would show up on the monitor screen. Trying to figure out what was wrong, I put the monitor cable into the old computer. Turns out the cable had kak'ed itself.

Got new cable, still doesn't work.
Took the covering off computer, all the bits and pieces seem to be firmly attached.
Have tried using only power cable and Monitor inputs attached, boots up but still no signal to monitor, only works with old computer.
=\

tl;dr: Can't get new computer to work with monitor.

Specs: 1333 F.S.B. Motherboard, 2048MB DDRII RAM, 500GB SATAII HDD, DVDRW+/-DL, ATX TOWER CASE, 1024MB NVIDIA 9500GT Video, 10/100 Network broadband.

Monitors an... LG thing...

I need help trying to get it to work >.>

Re: intel quad q8300

well if it makes you feel any better i am running into the exact same problem, and the only simularity that i have with your computer is that i have the same processor. So since we have the same problem, I am guessing that it is with the processor.;

Re: intel quad q8300

k three things that you need to check...
1. is your computer beeping any when you load it up
2. do you have a large enough power supply
3. Is your processor in correctly
if all of that is normal then you should probably contact your motherboard producer and ask for a replacement board
