Status :
-monitor power is on -CPU (fan, power led, hdd led, dvdroom led) is on but no signal display from monitor. This question has posted by another user of this forum before but still no answer to solve. To use save mode is imposible because I couldnt see anything to my monitor. So, I hopefully there's a solve of this problem. |

Re: No monitor display
I'd first try another monitor. If that does not work, and you use a graphics card and the board supports onboard video then try the onboard video. If the onboard does not work and you use a video card then pull the video card out and remove the CMOS battery for 30 seconds and put the battery back in and try again. If you do not have onboard video then try another graphics card and just for peace of mind pull the CMOS battery out as noted above. If you have children or others who mess with the computer, then I'd check the monitor settings by pressing the other buttons on the monitor, it could just be set all the way to dark on the lighting settings, but if you have another monitor and that's not working either then rule that out. If none of these steps work then you probably have a bad motherboard.
If anything here is confusing or you don't understand something, please feel free to ask. If you don't have another monitor or video card then I don't think this will be of much help, except maybe messing with the monitor settings and pulling the CMOS battery. P.S: If you resolve this problem with these steps or from something different then kindly let us know. |
